Pamplona born, Prados arrived at Lezama via feeder side Txantrea in 2015-16. After playing for the Under-18s and Basconia, he made the jump to Bilbao Athletic in 2019/20. He came back to Athletic last season after a successful loan spell with Segunda División outfit CD Mirandés.

One of the bright midfield hopes at Athletic, he recently extended his contract until 2031. What's more, his adaptabilty and tactical intelligence means he can play at centre mid, centre-back or right-back.
