Bio
A young, powerful centre-back, Dani Vivian was something of a revelation in the 2021-22 campaign, creating a formidable partnership with Iñigo Martínez at the beginning of the season.

The defender stands out for his tactical intelligence and strength in the air, but he's also a natural leader who is willing to get stuck in whenever necessary.

Dani arrived at Athletic in the 2016-17 season from local side Santutxu, making his way through the ranks before spending the 2020-21 on loan at Mirandés. He made 32 appearances and scored two goals during his time in the Segunda División.

He earned Marcelino's trust last season, playing 27 times and scoring two goals in his first season in the top-flight. Vivian will be looking to build on that in 2022/23 under new coach Ernesto Valverde.
