Vivian

A young, powerful centre-back, Dani Vivian stands out for his tactical intelligence and strength in the air, but he's also a natural leader who is willing to get stuck in whenever necessary. 

Dani arrived at Athletic in the 2016-17 season from local side Santutxu, making his way through the ranks before spending the 2020-21 on loan at Mirandés. He made 32 appearances and scored two goals during his time in the Segunda División. 

He earned Marcelino's trust in 2021-22, playing 27 times and scoring two goals in his first season in the top-flight. Since then Vivian has become an important cog in Los Leones' defence, lining up 36 times in all competitions under Ernesto Valverde last year.
