Bio
A very quick striker, Lucia’s change of pace is more typical of a sprinter. She has a fierce character and can be a real nightmare opposing defenders. Her speed and movement make it easy for her to lose her marker on the attack.
She made her Spain debut in 2018 and was one of the tournament sensations in the 2019 Fifa Women’s World Cup, scoring in Spain’s first game against South Africa. Born in Cruces, she joined Athletic Club from Oviedo Moderno in 2016 and her contract with Athletic expires in 2022.
