Talented central midfielder Oier Zarraga has been at Lezama since he was just 10 years old. The youngster from Getxo is another centre-midfielder that has got tongues wagging in Bilbao, with many eager to see how he performs at the highest level. 

A complete midfielder, who is also comfortable on the right flank. Oier has an excellent first touch, runs for days and pops up with the odd goal.

He got his first taste of senior football in 2020-21, making his LaLiga debut against Levante UD on Matchday 6, while his first senior LaLiga goal came in 2021-22 against the same opposition.

Zarraga became a fully-fledged member of the first-team squad last season, playing 37 matches across all competitions, although many of those came of the bench.

This season, Oier is keen to impress Ernesto Valverde and become a permanent fixture in the Lions' midfield.
