Unai Egiluz is a powerful centre-back attempting to break through into the Athletic first-team. The defender was part of the 2023 summer tour of Mexico and made his official senior debut in the Copa match against Rubí, where he started the game.
Unai had a productive loan spell at CD Mirandés last season and has contract at Athletic until 2028. He was gearing up for a senior breakthrough in 2025/26, but a serious knee injury suffered in a friendly against Racing Santander will keep him sidelined for a long period.
