A brave Athletic lose against Leeds United
The Athletic Under-21s, with a team full of teenage players, held their own against a much more experienced side

Athletic Club fell to a 2-0 defeat against Leeds United at York's LNER Community Stadium in the Premier League International Cup on Wednesday night.
The Zurigorris travelled to England with a squad packed with members of our Under-18s side. They went toe to toe with the current group leaders and produced in a battling performance.
Despite it being an evenly-match affiar, second-half goals from Alfie Cresswell and Logan White gave the home side all three points in the end.
Adrián Esteve's side got off to the better side, playing on the front foot and mounting dangerous attacks in the Leeds half. However, the scores remained level at the break.
After the restart, the home side showed their experience and asserted their dominance, finding the back of Athletic's net twice.
With this result, Athletic's chances of advancing in the competition are now very slim, but we still have two more group matches to play. The Cubs will visit Sunderland on 12 November and West Ham on 3 December.
