Line up at La Romareda

The Athletic Club line up as follows: Aranzubia; Expósito, Lacruz, Prieto, Casas; Gurpegi, Orbaiz; Iraola, Yeste, Dañobeitia and Etxeberria. On the bench: Lafuente, Murillo, Urzaiz, Endika, Tarantino, Felipe and Llorente.

The Athletic Club expedition arrived at La Romareda at 18:30 hours where several fans awaited them. Throughout the morning some players went for a short stroll around the hotel grounds. Coach Javier Clemente gave his team a chat at 12:00 hours and then they had lunch at 13:30 hours. Afternoon tea was served at 17:00 hours and at 18:10 hours the expedition made its way to la Romareda.

As was expected the temperature is low, only 5 degrees and this will drop by the time the match starts, the ground is hard but it’s good enough to play football on.
