Open House 2007 and New Prohibitivas

Coinciding with the fourth anniversary of the inauguration of Athletic Club’s Trophies and Exhibition Hall…

Coinciding with the fourth anniversary of the inauguration of Athletic Club’s Trophies and Exhibition Hall (San Mamés, Gate 26), and International Museum Day, this coming Friday, Saturday and Sunday (18, 19 and 20 May) an Open House will be held for all rojiblanco fans, whereby admission will be free to both the Trophies Hall and the guided tour of San Mamés.

Taking advantage of the open house, a double exhibition will also be inaugurated.

On the one hand, it will offer a heartfelt tribute to Athletic’s Women’s team for achieving their 4th Superliga title: keepsakes of their first and last match, gifts received throughout these years, the best photographs of the season… At the same time, and given that this Friday marks the 30th anniversary of the second-leg match of the UEFA final, never-before-seen items related to that unforgettable match will be exhibited.

We’d also like to remind you that currently the red-white Museum, besides housing the most important trophies achieved by Athletic and personal items from some of our most charismatic players, such as the very first, original blue-white jersey used in 1903, or the boots of the mythical Telmo Zarra, among other historical memories; offers you the possibility of contemplating the scale models of the new San Mamés and a video on the project.

As usual, the entrance to the Hall is complemented with an unforgettable guided tour of San Mamés, which takes you behind the scenes of La Catedral: the atrium, Presidential Box, Press Conference Room, Changing Rooms, Player’s dugouts.
