Athletic Club Board members Sandra Aurtenetxe and Carlos del Campo offered a press conference on Friday, 27 February, at 10:30 hours, at Ibaigane Palace to report on the initiatives that different institutions and private organizations from Biscay are going to develop around the second leg of the Copa semi-final.

All are grouped under the slogan ¡Saca tu Athletic!-Athletic Plazara! (Bring out the Athletic in you!), and until now we can mention the following:

IMQ have prepared 20.000 buffs/scarves to be handed out in the vicinity of San Mamés on the Copa matchday.

BBK will decorate all its branch offices.

Starting Friday, 27 February, Ibaigane will be illuminated with new ‘rojiblanco’ lighting.

Guggenheim Museum has prepared special rojiblanco illumination on their access stairs and special lights for the lampposts in the esplanade

Actors from Artebi, Escuela de Música, and Artes Escénicas y Visuales of Bilbao will be playing their roles in the streets of Biscay on the days prior to the match.

Metro Bilbao has prepared an illustration of the flag with the motto ‘Athletic Plazara-Saca tu Athletic’ on all their ticket machines.

The Biscayan Hospitality Association has ordered stickers for all members.

Renfe and Euskotren will put up stickers with the campaign theme on all their trains and trams.

El Corte Ingles has decorated a special shop window.

The Bilbao’s Old Quarters Merchants Association will decorate associated shops.

The Fine Arts Museum will be decorating their entrance doors and create a special ticket for the day of the match with the phrase ‘Aupa Athletic’.

Euskalduna Palace will have special exterior decor.

Several hotels in the capital have begun to decorate their exterior with flags.
The Biscayan Shepherd’s Association wants to break the record of number of roasted lambs on matchday in the lot where the old Trade Fair used to be. Later, snack-size pieces of lamb ‘pintxos’ will be distributed among fans.

In the Muskiz area, Petronor and Tele 7 are sponsoring the projection of the match on giant screens. Capacity: 300 persons.
