Children’s Photography Contest Awards

On Monday, 23 March 2009 the prizes of the ‘First Children’s Sports Photography Contest, FNAC- Athletic Foundation Club’ have been awarded. The jury, made up by Bilbaoarte Foundation director, Javier Riaño, renowned photographer Begoña Zubero, and the head of Activities for the Athletic Club Fundazioa Foundation, Galder Reguera, has decided to grant the three prizes to individual photographs entered by Marta Average Iturriza, Jon Ander Ipiña Gomez and Nerea Atutxa Hontañón. The three lucky winners will receive a fantastic Olympus digital camera and will enjoy a sports photography class during a Liga match in San Mamés.

The three winning photographs, plus a selection of the best works entered in the contest, will be on display at the FNAC entrance hall in Bilbao until 31 March.

The Athletic Club Fundazioa Foundation would like to thank all the boys and girls that entered this contest for their hard work and at the same time encourage them to continue expressing themselves through photography.
