UEFA Communiqué

The UEFA Club Competitions Unit informed Athletic Club yesterday afternoon that, according to the new guidelines for the 2009-2010 UEFA Europa League, the runner-up of the Copa competition will begin its participation in the Q3 (Third) qualifying round to be played on 30 July and 6 August 2009.

This change implies bringing forward Athletic Club’s participation one round in this competition, which was initially expected for mid August.
