Subcommittee on Professional Sport

The President of Athletic Club, Fernando Garcia Macua, will appear on Tuesday, 16 June, at 12:30 hours, before the Subcommittee on Professional Sport in Spain of the Chamber of Deputies. The object of this subcommittee is to study the situation of professional sport with the participation of all the affected sectors and to elaborate a report on the conclusions which will later be passed on to the Commission of Education, Social Policy and Sport for its debate and approval. To date the president of FC Barcelona, Joan Laporta, and current General Manager and attaché to Real Madrid’s presidency, Jorge Valdano have already appeared.
