Presentation of Book on Goalkeepers

The new book written by Athletic Club’s goalkeeper coach, Luis Llopis, in collaboration with the Athletic Club Foundation, titled ‘Implicación y Relación del Portero en el Juego Colectivo’, (Implication and relation of goalkeepers in team play), with prologues by coaches Joaquin Caparrós and Juan Carlos Mandiá, was presented on Tuesday, 27 April (18:00h), at the AC Cuzco Hotel (Madrid).

The publication benefits from the direct participation of goalkeepers Gorka Iraizoz, Víctor Valdés, Diego Lopez, Andrés Palop and Armando. In addition to our goalkeepers, also in attendance were President Fernando Garcia Macua, Javier Iruretagoiena, Joaquin Caparrós, Manu Delgado, Fernando Quintanilla, Luciano Martín, Bernardo Requena, Javier Reyes, Fernando Llorente, Javi Martinez and Fran Yeste. Also present at the event were several active players (Adrián, Parejo, Cobeño, Codina…) as well as coaches and former players (Zubizarreta, Michel, Hierro, Karanka, Miguel Angel España, Pedro Jaro, Mikel Insausti, Antonio Prieto, Mikel Etxarri, Emilio Alvarez, Diego, Juanjo Maqueda, Lopez Caro, Alberto Giraldez, Gallego, San Jose, etc…).
