Sergio Mendigutxia’s Update

Athletic Club player, who is currently playing for CD Basconia, Sergio Mendigutxia, has undergone several cardiological/stress tests this week so as to determine the fainting spell he suffered during the training session on 24 March.

In the following weeks additional tests will be performed and in a due time we shall have further information in relation to the player’s prognosis. Meanwhile, he will continue to train within the restrictions set by specialists though he will not participate in any competition.
