Victory against Huracán

Bilbao Athletic has defeated Huracán Valencia by 2-1 in the first leg of the second round of promotion play-off series disputed in Las Llanas.

Guillermo scored with a header shortly after the start, Omar equalized with a penalty in the second half and in the minutes Guarrotxena scored the winning goal.

At least the second leg match, to be disputed on Sunday, 16 June, at 17:00 in Valencia, will begin with a rojiblanca advantage, although the result could have been better if Paco hadn’t deflected a penalty shot taken by Guillermo, with 1-nil on the scoreboard and numerical superiority for our team.
