Athletic Club to dispute COTIF Tournament final tomorrow

The rojiblancas take the lead in the minute 2, after Ibarra takes advantage of the direct free-kick to surprise Andrea. With the marker in favour, Athletic Club dominated the game and controlled RCD Espanyol. It was Nekane’s turn, but her shot on goal goes high. Unlike the match against the Namibia Selection, Joseba Agirre’s team was in charge of the game, while the Catalan team couldn’t manage with the rojiblanca’s domination. J. Flaviano’s work in the midfield was compensated with a few attempts from the front of the area that didn’t manage the objective of increasing the score. In the final moments of the first half, Nekane was also off-target in a very clear occasion before Andrea; the rojiblanca forward shot the ball wide.

In the second half, J. Flaviano sentenced the semi-final with the second goal for the rojiblancas. Back pass from Iraia, Flaviano controlled and blasted a rocket into the top corner. The substitutions began and, a wide shot by Maddi and good play by Ainhoa Vicente have been a most relevant.

Tomorrow the end will be disputed and the rival of rojiblancas will leave the encounter who is disputing Valencia CF with the Selection of Namibia.
