New red and white football shirt for the 2018/19 season

This morning, the Athletic Club and New Balance, along with the Club’s new on line store, have officially unveiled the new red and white football shirt for the 2018/19 season. Created to commemorate the Athletic Club’s120th anniversary, this first strip is inspired by our essence, faithfully transmitted over the generations. The colours and shield that represent a unique way of competing.

The garment is part of the ‘Loyal to the Last’ campaign, which along with the slogan ‘Geuriak’, delves into the feeling of belonging shared by footballers and supporters.

New Balance has prepared the new sports garments for the next season using the innovative NB DRY technology, which gives priority to comfort in movement and maintaining the correct temperature and breathability.

The design responds explicitly to the Club’s traditional style and as a new development, it incorporates a black V-neck, matching the shorts and the socks. The box for the player’s name and number is in red; the small Ikurriña or Basque flag is maintained on the upper back area and inside the shirt there is an emblem designed for the Club’s 120th anniversary.
