Eduardo Berizzo, Athletic Club’s new coach

Athletic Club informs that Eduardo Berizzo (Cruz Alta -Argentina- 13th November 1969) will be the new coach of our first team, with a contract ending by 30th June 2019. The coach team comprises Ernesto Marcucci, Pablo Fernández, Carlos Kisluk, Roberto Bonano and Mariano Uglessich. The presentation of Eduardo Berizzo, who will be introduced by president Josu Urrutia, will be held at San Mames’ Jose Iragorri press conference, on this Thursday 31st May, at 6:30pm. Berizzo started his professional path as Marcelo Bielsa’s assistant with the Chilean national team. Subsequently, he trained Estudiantes de La Plata (Argentina), O’Higgins (Chile), as well as Real Club Celta and Sevilla FC in La Liga.
