Farewell tribute to Susaeta, Rico and Iturraspe

Athletic Club will dedicate at the end of the match against RC Celta a deserved tribute to the three red-and-white footballers who bid farewell to San Mamés on Sunday. Once the match is over, team captain Markel Susaeta, Ander Iturraspe and Mikel Rico will receive their most sincere recognition, gratitude and affection from the club and the red-and-white supporters themselves. The attending public is asked to please remain in their locality after the final whistle and thus participate in the events scheduled to pay tribute to these three emblematic red-and-white, each on its own merits and circumstances. Spectators are also reminded that the One Club Man Award 2019 will also be presented during the half-time. They will come on behalf of the recently deceased Scottish defender, Billy McNeill’s daughter Susan, as well as his mate in the back line of that Celtic who marked an era, John Clark.
