‘La Campa de los Ingleses’ tavern reopens its doors

From tomorrow, Friday 31st May, the special gastronomy service for San Mamés’ events is launched and the tavern “La Campa de los Ingleses” is reopened to the public.

From tomorrow, Friday 31st May, the special gastronomy service for San Mamés’ events is launched and the tavern “La Campa de los Ingleses” is reopened to the public.

Chef Fernando Canales will lead the gastronomic project of the stadium for which he will have the support of the company Sodexo.

The Gastronomic Tavern “La Campa de los Ingleses” is located in the southwest corner of the field, next to the Official Store. Through its independent entrance there is access to a large local offering spectacular views of the pitch, as well as a small terrace on the esplanade surrounding the stadium.

It is a Sports Bar with an informal gastronomic offer, but of quality, taking as reference the typical tapas bars of Bilbao.
Both the gastronomic proposal and the staging take care of the combination between tradition and avant-garde, with the capacity to accommodate a large volume of people and where you can watch the matches that the Athletic Club play as a visitor.

Its opening hours will be:

– Monday to Thursday: 9:30am to 8:30pm.
– Friday: 9:30am to 11pm.
– Saturday: from 10:00am to 11:00pm.
– Sunday: from 10:00am to 8:30pm.

Likewise, the gastronomy service for all kinds of events in San Mames is launched.

The restaurant San Mames Jatetxea, which will be the flagship of Fernando Canales in the gastronomic project of San Mames, is scheduled to open in August and will be reported on prior to its launch.
