Joseba Etxeberria – Bilbao Athletic
15 seasons at Athletic and with 514, the third player with more official matches played in Athletic Club’s history. As a coach he started in Lezama with the youth team, became Ernesto Valverde’s assistant in the first team and after passing through Basconia, has trained Amorebieta and Tenerife.

Patxi Salinas – Basconia
10 seasons at Athletic and 293 official matches among others as part of the team that won two leagues, Cup and Supercup. Later he spent 6 seasons at Celta. There he began as a coach in its lower categories. He also spent a year with the junior team in Lezama. He has trained Porriño, Gramanet, Ourense, Melita, Sant Andreu, Rápido de Bouzas, Burgos or Badajoz.

Imanol de la Sota – Juniors A
Technician with a solid trajectory in clubs of the Duranguesado and the Cultural, in 2015 he arrives to Lezama to take charge of the first youth team and to be assistant in a cadet team. Later he was Joseba Etxeberria’s second coach in Basconia. For the last two seasons he has been in charge of the Eibar’s Honorary Division Youth.

Jon Solaun – Juniors B
As a football played he entered Lezama in his youth stage. Then he played in Sestao, Eibar, Logroñés, Alavés, Badajoz, Elche, Ceuta, Burgos, Mirandés, Lemona, Amurrio or Barakaldo, among others. After passing through Maiona and Lasesarre as coach, he joined Athletic’s technical staff in the 2015-16 season.

Ander Alaña – Cadet A
He entered Athletic in cadet age playing in all categories until Bilbao Athletic. Then he was in Eibar, Poli Ejido, Alavés, Amorebieta or Leioa. After hanging up his boots in Sarriena, he joins Lezama in the 2015-16 season to take charge of the first cadet team.

Andoni Galiano – Cadet B
In the Athletic from youths to the Bilbao Athletic, then he played in the Conquense, Real Unión or Cultural Leonesa. After four seasons training Sodupe, in the 2017-18 season he arrives at Lezama to direct first Basconia and this season to coach Juniors A.

Oskar Alkorta – Youths San Mamés 2006
He completed his career in Lezama as a player up to Bilbao Athletic. Then he passed through Aurrera de Vitoria, Conquense, Eivissa or Amurrio. After working on the External Project, he joined the coaching staff of the lower categories of Lezama in the 2013-14 season.

Txema Añibarro – Youths Alirón 2006
After having forged a number of regional football clubs in Bizkaia, he moved to Sestao River and then to Eibar, with whom he will become the oldest debutant in First Division’s history. He hangs up his boots in Ipurua and moves on to work with Athletic’s lower categories in the 2015-16 season.

Joseba Núñez – Youths San Mamés 2007
Teacher of the School of Coaches and current assistant coach of Javier Clemente in the Euskal Selekzioa. With the Basque Federation he has been coach of U-18 team, champion of Spain, and amateur. Responsible for the methodology in the Danok Bat and coach of a cadet, he joins Lezama as coach of one of the first year children’s teams.

Igor Pelayo – Youths Alirón 2007
Technician in the External Project of the Club during the last years. He also worked in the Getxo football base. He joined one of the children’s teams in 2007.

Jon Kareaga – Youths San Mamés 2008
As a technician in Getxo, he was in charge of the teams cadet, junior and also in the Third Division. He has trained in Galea and is now in charge of one of the second year young teams.

Joseba Lertxundi – Youths Alirón 2008
He trained in the lower categories of Barakaldo and later became part of the external project. He has already worked at Lezama’s technical staff throughout the 2018-19 season.

Patrik Guerra – Youths San Mamés 2009
Head of women’s football at Leioako Emakumeak, he arrives at Lezama in the 2015-16 season to take charge of the second cadet team. This season he will lead one of the first-year younger teams.

Ander Lafuente – Youths Alirón 2009
He comes to Lezama at a young age from the Arenas to continue in Basconia and Bilbao Athletic. From there he goes to Cartagena where he played more than 200 matches. He was also in Granada, Ponferradina, Racing, Sestao River, Estradense or Sodupe. After training in the lower categories of the Arenas and Peña Athletic, he will take the lead of one of the younger teams.
