Athletic ladies’ B team finishes its mini-stage in Otxandio
The team led by Iraia Iturregi closes three days in an unbeatable environment to make team
Athletic Club’s ladies’ branch has closed its small three-day training camp in Otxandio. Koikili Aterpetxea has been the refuge for the red-and-white squad with numerous activities in the middle of nature.
Last Friday night, the former red-and-white player himself wanted to take an active part in a tribute to the entire successful career of the first ladies’ team. Koikili was even cheered on by an aurresku of honour dedicated especially to coach Iraia Iturregi.
On the final day in Otxandio, the young red-and-white girls were visited by Maider Unda, the wrestling champion from Bizkaia. The athlete gave an inspiring talk to the Athletic Club youth squad.
