Raul García: “We have clear ideas”

Raúl García has been the protagonist in the press room of Lezama’s facilities after this morning’s training session. After several days without being able to add three in three, Raúl García has assured that “we have a streak that we had not passed, it is necessary to look for solutions to take out the situation ahead.” However, he also considers that he deserved to win last weekend against Real Valladolid: “The other day the team did enough to win, as against Valencia, did what it had to do.”

The lions will face Atletico Madrid at Wanda Metropolitano (Saturday at 9.00 pm) and for that reason he has been asked to evaluate one of his former teams: “Because of the changes, Atletico is a team that quote unquote has a hard time getting started, but it is very complicated and will demand a lot from us. We have clear ideas about what to do.”

When questioned about the fact of scoring before the rival, the Navarra player has answered that “the important thing is to know how to read the moments of the game, the other day (against Real Valladolid) we were ahead, and we could not manage that advantage.” He also referred to his role within the collective:“Nobody is ahead of the team; each one of us has our own way of playing but we always have to think about the group, I do not care where I stand.
