Clash between undefeated teams

Athletic Club’s third ladies team made a great start in the regional category of Biscayan football. Those headed by the ex-player Tzibi Juaristi have won with difficulties the six matches played so far and hope to continue with the great streak against their next rival, the Peña Athletic Santurtzi (Friday 1, 12:00 hours, Lezama-Campo 4). The ones from Santurtzi, are indeed, next to the zurigorri the only undefeated in the start of the season.

In addition to scoring 40 goals, it should be pointed out that in the first six rounds of the league, the young red and white have not scored a single goal. Tzibi Juaristi values as very positive the beginning of a team that has as function to form the future lionesses: “We are growing at individual level and that collectively is making us grow also as a team. The new players have already adapted to the way we work at Lezama; maybe that was, perhaps, the hardest part. Now the team begins to speak the same language, with the same principles that we want as game strategy in the quarry.”
