Presentation of LaLiga Genuine

The third edition of Genuine Santander League has been presented this afternoon in the auditorium of Banco Santander in Madrid. The competition, made up of 36 LaLiga teams, will begin on November 16 and will be divided into 4 phases held in 6 venues.

The starting phase will be played in Tarragona next week, between 15, 16 and 17 November, with Nàstic as host. The final phase will be held in Lezama on 29, 30 and 31 May.

The hosts for the remaining phases are Sevilla FC (31 January and 1 and 2 February), Real Betis Balompié (28 and 29 February and 1 March), UD Las Palmas (27, 28 and 29 March) and Sporting de Gijón (24, 25 and 26 April). Among the novelties, this season highlights the inclusion of six new teams: Real Betis Balompié, Cadiz CF, CD Tenerife, Elche CF, Granada CF and Getafe CF.

For this new season, the Genuine Athletic Club Foundation team has increased its staff in 16 components, passing in a year from 32 to the current 48 players, 5 of them women. The red-and-white team has won the Fair Play trophy for its sportsmanship, respect and fair play in the first two editions of the competition.
