Yesterday, Wednesday 18 December, Leyre Monente, a player from the women’s subsidiary, had surgery on her right shoulder. This morning has been released from the hospital. The offensive midfielder will have her joint immobilized for a month and her total absent period is estimated at four to five months depending on her progress.
Iraia Iturregi will not be able to count on this player who played all the preseason with the first ladies’ team playing several friendly matches, including some minutes in the Ramón de Carranza Trophy. During this season 2019-2020 has been a starter in three games of Reto Iberdrola, playing 268 minutes.
