U-23 call for the clash against Liverpool FC

A complete Athletic Club U-23 made up by players of Bilbao Athletic and CD Basconia have departed Loiu today so as to face the last match of group E at the sixth edition of the Premier League International Cup, that will get Liverpool FC and The Academy together tomorrow, Wednesday (20.00pm) at the facilities of the Reds. The players led by Joseba Etxeberria started the competition in October by losing a very levelled match against PSG. They also got a 1-1 draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers with a goal scored by Gorka Guruzeta. The match was played in November.

As for the rival, Liverpool FC only played one match in the tournament where they won 3-2 against PSG, with a recovery during discount time, with two goals in minutes 88 and 93.
