The red-and-white stadium was lighted up to thank the health personnel and the rest of the professionals who are working for the common good in the coronavirus crisis
This weekend, Athletic Club wanted to join the society’s recognition of the work and effort of thousands of professionals in the coronavirus health crisis. On Saturday night, San Mamés was lighted up with the following message, aimed at encouraging all the health personnel working in this difficult situation: Gogogaren Indarra! Eskerrik asko gu zaintzeagatik, Thank you for taking care of us.
On Sunday, the thanks were extended to all the professionals working in these exceptional circumstances: transport, supermarkets, couriers, cleaners, transport… for whom the stadium was lighted up with an Eskerrik asko! (Thank you!) who was joined by a number of applause signs that accompanied the royal ovation given by thousands of citizens from their balconies.
