The goalkeeper, who has been part of the first team during the preseason, has taken advantage of his loan to UD Melilla by playing all the matches
In addition to the today’s protagonists in our talks #FromHome, Ganea, Nolaskoain, Andoni López and Inigo Vicente, all of them in First or Second Division teams, another fifth player who have been part of the first team during last year, Hodei Oleaga, is taking advantage of his loan during the current season.
The goalkeeper from Alava played with total authority in the goal of the UD Melilla, team of the group II of the Second Division B, with which Oleaga has played all the minutes. The goalkeeper on loan from Athletic has been a starting lineup in the 28 matches of the league and in the only Copa match played by the team from Melilla, with a total of 2.520 minutes in official matches.
Oleaga has not made his debut with Athletic Club in an official match, although he was called up by the first team in several matches of the last league and played some minutes in the summer friendly against the Racing de Santander.
The other players on loan in the Second B and Third Division
The postponement of matches has also affected the players we have on loan from other clubs. For example, regarding the Second Division B, the midfielder Antxon Jaso was a regular with the Amorebieta and Aitor Seguín was a key player in the resurrection of the Barakaldo in the last matches. The goalkeeper Aritz de Miguel, however, had not been able to make his debut in Leioa, where he arrived mid-season.
The players who went out for minutes in Third Division during the season were making it. Christopher Atangana was settled from the start in the Somorrostro’s goal and Asier Arana was playing regularly as a midfielder with the Gernika. Aitor Aguado has played with some regularity in the Deusto’s defense. Meanwhile, winger Keenan Mendibelzua (Getxo) and goalkeeper Sergio García (Zamudio) were also playing.
