5 years after the last Cup final

5 years have passed since Athletic Club played its last Copa del Rey final. On May 30, 2015, the lions were measured at the Camp Nou against FC Barcelona in order to reach the glory of the cup again. The Athletic fans wanted to enjoy a day that, despite not having the desired outcome, left an image of our fans at the height of the best, flooding the city of Barcelona throughout the day on Saturday.

Red and white fans gave a recital again when it came to accompanying and tucking their own club in the stands of the Barcelona stadium. More than 35,000 fans in the Athletic section, adding the part that did so from the Barcelona sector, encouraged Ernesto Valverde’s lions at the Camp Nou. In addition, San Mamés opened its doors that night and 50,000 fans watched the game from giant screens that the club put on the grass of La Catedral.
