Termination of Gorka Guruzeta’s contract

Athletic Club has reached an agreement with footballer Gorka Guruzeta to terminate his contract, which was due to expire on June 30, 2021.

The striker heads to CE Sabadell, recently promoted to LaLiga Smartbank, and the agreement includes a buy-back option which Athletic Club can exercise after two seasons.

The forward from San Sebastian joined Athletic from Antiguoko in 2014-15 and leaves having played nine times and scoring once for the first team. The goal came in the Copa del Rey against Sevilla in the Sánchez Pizjuán. In addition, he scored 31 times for Bilbao Athletic.
