ZOOM I Welcome to Bilbao, Álex Berenguer

Athletic Club’s latest signing, Álex Berenguer, is the focus of the most recent edition of Athletic’s ‘Zoom’ video series. Published on Youtube, the videos intend to give fans an insight into the lesser-seen aspects of life at Athletic.

This particular video follows Berenguer during his first couple of days in Bilbao, from his arrival last Friday night, to his medical, contract signing in Ibaigane and first training session in Lezama on Saturday. As well as keeping up with Álex throughout his first two days, the camera also captured his Athletic debut against Deportivo Alavés at Mendizorroza on Sunday, a match in which he played for the last 15 minutes.

The report finishes with Álex’s official presentation to the media at a press conference in San Mamés and the first images of the attacker stepping out on The Cathedral’s turf in the iconic red-and-white strip.
