Athletic Club has decided to part company with the head coach of the women’s first team, Iraia Iturregi will take charge from tomorrow onwards
Athletic Club has terminated Ángel Villacampa’s contract as the head coach of the women’s first team.
The Club thanks Ángel for the effort and dedication he has shown since taking over the position in July 2019, and wishes him all the best in his future endeavours.
From tomorrow, Friday January 8, Iraia Iturregi – until now head coach of the reserves and player with second most appearances in Athletic Club Women history (402)- will lead the women’s first team until June 30, 2022.
Iraia’s official media presentation will take place tomorrow morning (January 8) at 12:30 CET in San Mamés’ Jose Iragorri press room.
