There’s no rest for the wicked. After securing a point against Real Sociedad at the Reale Arena on Wednesday night, Athletic Club face another Basque derby in LaLiga Santander on Saturday evening. This time they’re taking on Vitoria-based side Deportivo Alavés at San Mamés. In addition to three points which would advance Athletic’s European aspirations, they’ll be looking for a confidence-boosting performance in what will be the last match before the Copa del Rey 2020-21 final with FC Barcelona on April 17.
