Sancet called up to Spain U-21s for European Championship
The player from Navarre has been selected for the tournament, which will be held in Slovenia, and sees the Spanish national team face Croatia in the quarter-finals
Athletic Club forward Oihan Sancet has been named in the Spain Under-21 squad for the upcoming UEFA European Under-21 Championship.
The 21-year-old Lezama product has made 23 LaLiga Santander appearances for Athletic so far in 2020-21. He has been in good form of late, starting in seven of the Lions’ last eight fixtures.
The young Lion will join up with the squad on Tuesday, May 25 at the Ciudad de Fútbol de las Rozas, where he will train with his teammates, before travelling to Slovenia for their first match of the competition, which is a quarter-final against Croatia on Monday, May 31.
