All the best moments from an action-packed 1-1 draw between RCD Espanyol and Athletic Club on Tuesday night.

The Lions played well and probably deserved more on the night. Despite having numerous chances to put the match to bed, they came up against an inspired Diego López in goal.

Raúl de Tomás gave Espanyol the lead after 33 minutes, converting from the penalty spot. Iñaki Williams equalised in the second half after some excellent work by Iñigo Lekue to set up the goal.

A succession of Athletic opportunities were foiled by López. Perhaps the clearest of all an Alex Berenguer effort in the 88th minute which López somehow managed to tip over the bar.
