Athletic fans gave the Lions a warm welcome in their 2021/22 Copa opener
Athletic got their 2021/22 Copa campaign up and running with a victory in the Andalusian town of Mancha Real. The atmosphere was buzzing in Mancha Real and at the La Juventud, especially as Atlético Mancha Real had already knocked out Granada CF to get this far.
Hundreds of Athletic supporters from our many fan clubs based in Andalusia turned up to cheer on their Lions. They were treated to a victory as Nico Williams’ double -his first senior goals- saw Los Rojiblancos book a place in the Round of 16.
