Dani García renews contract until 2024
The central midfielder extends his contract at Athletic Club for a further two years
Athletic Club midfielder Dani García has put pen to paper on a contract extension which will keep him at the Club until June 30, 2024.
The footballer signed his new deal at Ibaigane on Wednesday afternoon alongside Athletic Club president Aitor Elizegi and director of sport Rafa Alkorta.
The 31-year-old central midfielder has been heavily involved this season, having lined up 23 times in LaLiga, four in the Copa and twice in the Supercopa.
Dani is now in his fourth campaign with the Lions and has so far made a total of 137 appearances in the red and white. He joined from SD Eibar in 2018, where he helped lead the side from the Segunda B Division to LaLiga Santander with consecutive promotions.
Dani will hold a press conference on Friday morning at 12:45 CET, after first-team training.
