Joseba Aguirre and Rafa Alkorta part ways with Athletic Club

Joseba Aguirre and Rafa Alkorta will not being continuing in their respective roles as women’s and men’s directors of football at Athletic Club.

Both will be leaving their posts with immediate effect after the Board of Directors informed them they are not part of the Club’s sporting plans going forward.

Athletic Club would like to thank Rafa Alkorta and Joseba Aguirre for all the hard work and dedication they have shown the Club for many years, not only in their recent spells as directors of football but also as players. The Club wishes all them best of luck in their future endeavours, both personal and professional.
