The Bilbao Athletic forward will spend next season with Burgos CF
Bilbao Athletic forward Juan Artola will spend the 2022/23 campaign on loan at LaLiga Smartbank side Burgos CF.
The youth academy player will be stepping up to the second division for the first time in his career after three seasons with Bilbao Athletic in the third tier, where he scored 23 goals in 86 appearances.
Bizkaia-born Artola joined Lezama at under-11 level and made his first-team debut last season under Marcelino, lining up against Mancha Real in the Copa del Rey round of 32.
Last season the young forward was involved in 34 of Bilbao Athletic’s 38 Primera RFEF fixtures, finding the back of the net five times. Juan’s contract with Athletic runs until 2025.
