Relevant information for anyone attending Athletic vs RCD Mallorca at San Mamés on Monday evening (17:30 CEST)
This Monday at 17:30 CEST, San Mamés hosts the LaLiga Santander fixture between Athletic Club and RCD Mallorca, the Lions’ first game of the season. Below there is some useful information for all those attending the match at The Cathedral.
Stadium access
The gates will open at 16:00 CEST. Please try to arrive ahead of time so you can speed up your entry into the stadium, avoid last-minute crowds and enjoy the start of a match
Access with membership card
Club Members can enter the stadium with their physical membership card or with their digital membership card, however Gazte Abonoa pass holders must use their digital card on the official Athletic Club app.
The QR code needed to enter the stadium via the official app can be found in the 'My Account' section and will be activated within a few hours prior to the match.
Don’t forget, if you cannot attend the fixture, you can transfer your digital card to another Athleticzale via the app. Transfers can be made up until two hours before kick-off.

Ticket sales
San Mamés’ ticket office, located between Gates 6 & 7 at the stadium, will be open during the following times:
• Sunday August 14: 10:30-13:30 and 17:30-20:00.
• Monday August 15: 10:30-13:00 and 15:30 onwards
What’s more, tickets will be available online right up until kick-off. Buy tickets online.
Only one ticket per person and four per transaction.

‘Matchday Experience’ tickets go on sale up until 24 hours before kick-off. Watch the match from San Mames’ central ring and enjoy a unique experience at The Cathedral.

San Mamés store opening hours
The official shop (located between Gates 26 and 0 at San Mamés) will be open non-stop from 10:00 to 20:00
Remember that you can also place your orders at the Athletic Club online shop. To celebrate the Lions' LaLiga opener, purchases online are eligible for a €5 discount voucher on orders amounting to €50 or more.
Restaurants and bars
Enjoy the match at Geuria!, the sportsbar located between Gates 13 and 14 at San Mamés. From 13:00 onwards, you can enjoy a wide and varied menu at The Cathedral’s in-built bar before watching the game on giant screens.
What’s more you can try a range of drinks and pintxos at Bar La Campa de los Ingleses from 10:00 to 14:00.
AC Museum and San Mames Tour
The Athletic Club Museum (next to Gate 20) will be open from 10:00 until 14:30. With it being a match day, the San Mames Tour will only be available until 12:45.
