Eunate Arraiza to compete at 2022 European Deaf Futsal Championships
The Athletic Club Women player will represent the Spanish Deaf Sports Federation at the tournament in Pescara, Italy
Eunate Arraiza has been called up to the Spanish national team for the European Deaf Futsal Championships (EDFC 2022), which will be held in Pescara, Italy, from October 13-22.
The defender will join the travelling party on Sunday 16 October before returning on 21 October, the day before the Lionesses' LaLiga F clash with Deportivo Alavés.
This is the sixth European Championship for hearing-impaired players. Eunate Arraiza, seventh in Athletic Club Women's all-time appearance makers list with 291 matches, is also a full international, having made her debut for Spain in 2017.
