The Competition Committee has ruled in favour of Athletic Club's appeal, overturning the first yellow card shown to Yuri Berchiche against Cádiz CF at San Mamés on Friday February 3.
Athletic alleged an error had been made, claiming Yuri did not bring down the opposing player and the discplinary body decided the footage provided corroborated this argument.
Nevertheless, the left-back will still serve a one-match ban against Valencia CF at Mestalla due to collecting five yellow cards so far this season.
