On July 14, Ernesto Valverde's squad will fly to Mexico for friendlies against Chivas and Necaxa
Athletic Club's men's first team will report for pre-season training at Lezama on July 6. Standard medical assessments and initial training sessions will take place on that same day.
The only extended trip abroad will take place a week later. On Friday 14, the squad will set off for Mexico, where they will play the second leg of the Tree of Gernika Trophy against Chivas at the Estadio Akron on Sunday 16.
After that, on Wednesday 19, they will take on CD Nexaca in a friendly at the Estadio Victoria in Aguascalientes as part of the Mexican outfit's centenary celebrations.
