To celebrate our match at La Cartuja on April 6, Athletic Club is releasing a retro strip based on the one worn by the 1984 champions
Athletic Club is releasing a commemorative shirt for the Copa final against RCD Mallorca at La Cartuja on April 6. The retro jersey is inspired by the one the 1984 champions wore when Athletic won LaLiga, the Copa and the Supercopa under the guidance of Javier Clemente.
The shirt, along with the rest of the 'Unique In The World' collection for this final, is now on sale in Athletic's four retail outlets in Bilbao.

40 years later
Four decades later, and with another great Copa final coming up, Athletic has decided to pay tribute to a team whose successes have influenced different generations of Athleticzales.
This is a unique replica of the shirt in which Txema Noriega scored his dramatic goal at Mestalla, in which Rocky Liceranzu netted two decisive goals against Real Sociedad to win LaLiga, in which Andoni Goikoetxea roared past Lech Poznan in an electrifying European night at San Mamés and i which Endika Guarrotxena finished off Estanis Argote's cross to topple Diego Maradona's FC Barcelona and lift the Copa.
