Nico Serrano loaned to Real Sporting de Gijón
The Athletic Club forward will play on loan at the Asturian outfit until the end of the season
Athletic Club forward Nico Serrano will spend the rest of the season on loan at LaLiga Hypermotion team Sporting Gijón.
The 21-year-old recently renewed his Athletic contract until 30 June 2028. He has played 265 minutes this season in all competitions, scoring one goal in the Europa League win over PFC Ludogorets.
Serrano passed a medical at Sporting on Friday afternoon. This is his third loan experience in the second division after his time with CD Mirandés and Racing Club de Ferrol.
