Julen Agirrezabala loaned to Valencia CF

Athletic Club and Valencia CF have reached an agreement for goalkeeper Julen Agirrezabala to play on loan at Mestalla this season.

The loan includes a fee as well as bonuses based on performance and penalties for non-participation. Valencia CF can also trigger a non-mandatory purchase option at the end of the loan.

Julen Agirrezabala, 24, who has contract until 30 June 2027 with Athletic Club, leaves with 65 appearances under his belt (29 last season) and the enormous experience accumulated in the Copa, in which he was decisive, as well as in last season's Europa League, where his performances helped Athletic reach the semi-finals.
