Zurigorri footballers past and present invoke what has been a hallmark of Athletic's identity throughout our 128-year history: never giving up
In a video appealing to the Athletic Club spirit and our refusal to give up in the face of adversity, core values related to the club's identity, we have brought together Zurigorri legends of past and present, including: Mikel Jauregizar, Ane Azkona, Jose Angel Iribar, Marcos de Marcos, Iker Muniain, Julen Guerrero, Iñaki Williams, Nico Williams, Irene Oguiza, Bibiane Schulze, Unai Simón, Aymeric Laporte and Dani Vivian.
At the root of this fighting spirit, which has kept Athletic in the first division since its orgins and brought us 25 Copas, eight LaLigas, three Spanish Super Cups and one Eva Duarte Cup, there are no words, but rather people who set out on a path that has brought the club to where it is today.
The message, which has been passed down through the generation and remains alive in the Rojiblanco family and is clear in the video: there are no excuses, no matter how many times you fall, you were born to try again and again, as many times as necessary, because that is what is in your hands and what you choose: to try.
