Terzić: "It’s a very important match, because it’s the next one"

Edin Terzić spoke to the media ahead of this Sunday’s match between Athletic Club and RC Celta at ABANCA Balaídos. The manager highlighted the importance of the upcoming fixture: “It’s a very important match, because it’s the next one. It’s been a tough start for us, but now we have to improve and try to secure the win.”

When asked about the Galician team, Terzić warned that they would be playing against a team “that likes to keep possession”. Also, he expects a different match to the one against Barcelona, with both sides taking turns in controlling the game. “Neither team is happy with how the season has started. We’ll both be fighting to turn things around, so we need to be prepared,” he emphasised.

Finally, when asked about the results, Terzić was clear: “Results matter, but we’re not solely focused on them; we’re prepared to improve our performances. If we do that, the results will follow.”
