Players’ Condition

ARITZ ADURIZ: Distension of the internal lateral ligament of the right knee

CARLOS GURPEGI: Left upper jaw fracture

UNAI EXPÓSITO: Overload of the internal Soleus muscle of the right leg.

ENDIKA BORDAS: Hyperextension of the right foot.

MIKEL DAÑOBEITIA: Distension of the internal lateral ligament of the right knee

All are recovering favourably and are in step with their respective rehabilitation.

ANDER MURILLO GARCÍA: Contusion right knee. Undergoing physical therapy and has started exercising with the bicycle.

FRANCISCO J. YESTE NAVARRO: Pubalgia (groin injury). Next Monday, the 15th, he will visit with Dr. Ulrike Muschaweck in Munich, in order to assess the possibility of surgical treatment to alleviate the right side inguinocrural discomfort that he’s been dragging all this season of 2005-2006. The player will travel accompanied by Dr. Sabino Padilla, and if the decision to undergo surgery is made, the operation would take place on Tuesday, 16 May.

ROBERTO MARTÍNEZ RIPODAS: Right ankle. He will visit with Dr. Mikel Sánchez, in order to assess which treatment is most appropriate to improve the functional state of his right ankle.
